The cleric bemoaned the current socio-economic challenges in the country which manifest in forms of mass unemployment, inflation, terrorism, ritual and serial killings, kidnappings, human trafficking etc. as indicative of the destruction of the social and moral fabric of the society. This societal decadence can be explained in religious perspective as the "breakdown in the demonic and occultic convenants and oaths between individuals and satanic agents brought about mainly by the past activities of their ill-informed progenitors, and the current craze for wealth.

Taking his sermon from the Scriptural passages in 1 Sam. 18, 19 and 20; and 2 Sam. 9, the cleric further explained that irrespective of gender, age, domicile, socio-economic and educational status, religious creed or ethnic stock, the devil has a spiritual hold and leverage on individuals due to idolatry, occultism, witchcraft manipulations and other evil practices prevailing among the people. He advised that satanic links and practices with the occultic groups and evil agents should be completely severed, abhorred and renounced by the leaders and followers alike for Nigeria to experience all-round development. Also he averred that the solution pathway to the Nigerian societal advancement cannot be found in religiosity, strict adherence to the dictates and counsels of fake and occultic religious con men that littered the nooks and cranny of the country, but rather to the true worship of the Lord and obedience to His precepts.

In conclusion, Evangelist Kolajo reiterated that the upcoming 2018 Nigerian National Deliverance Crusade is TO SET THE BELOVED NIGERIANS AND THE CAPTIVE NATION FREE by uprooting and overthrowing the dominion of the evil ones over Nigerian individual and corporate lives, restoration of the previously traded glories of the beloved citizens, and encouraging each person to walk with the Most High God in spirit and holiness.

The cleric lamented that the consequence of the disobedience of Adam and Eve at the beginning of creation is MAN'S ERRONEOUS IDENTIFICATION AND ASSOCIATION OF GOD WITH DESTRUCTION ONLY, thus forgetting the LORD'S ETERNAL LOVE AND COMPASSION toward mankind. Taking his homily from 1 Sam. 8: 1-22 and Hos. 8: 1-4, he decried the level of material and spiritual decadence in the society which he ascribed to man's departure from the Lord's precepts in favour of his crafty and devious behaviour.

Further he opined that the adoption and perpetuation of the satanic doctrine of self-interest in every sphere of human influence encourage such vices as covetousness, pride, corruption, lust, theft, thuggery, occultism, kidnapping, assassination etc. These vices are manifested on grand scales as ethnic and religious intolerance, social injustice and inequalities, prostitution, child abuse, armed robbery, unemployment and so on by Nigerians irrespective of gender, age, domicile, socio-economic and educational status, religious creed or ethnic stock.

He advised that for NIGERIA TO EXPERIENCE TRUE PROGRESS AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT; religiosity and subservience to the dictates and commands of fake and occultic prophets cannot provide the necessary and sufficient solution pathway, rather they will lead to perdition. He enjoined us ALL TO TOW THE PATH OF TRUE REPENTANCE AND OBEDIENCE TO THE LORD'S PRECEPTS IN EVERY SITUATION.

Our corporate existence needs divine redemption to succeed as a nation- cleric

The Minister in charge of the God of Fire Global Evangelical Ministries (GOFGEM), Evangelist Peter Kolajo has admonished Nigerians to renew their faith in God as panacea to set the country to the path of greatness.

The clergyman noted that for Nigeria and Nigerians to reclaim their rightful position in the global space, thus, there is need for total redemption in line with the will and commandment of God.

Evangelist Kolajo made the statement in his sermon at the Ministry's headquarters, Osogbo, Osun State capital.

Kolajo argued that for Nigeria and Nigerians to experience progress, hence, people must begin‎ to champion the course of God rather than pursuing ephemeral tendencies.

He said the time has come for Nigerians to rise to the present socioeconomic challenges confronting the country and jettison anything capable of drawing the progress of the country to the hood.

Evangelist Kolajo charged those in the positions of authority to champion the fundamental objectives and template for good governance, stressing that the country has reached a stage where no effort must be spared to actualize the envisioned dreams of her founding fathers.

The renowned cleric said for Nigeria to experience abundance as being promised by God, thus attitudinal change must be the watchword for those in the position of authority.

According to the Cleric, "God’s basic purpose for 2018 is visitation and recompense, but it is unfortunate that,majority of individuals are not prepared for that great visitation since all institutions of governance have failed and betrayed their faith in God and humanity, hence leading to a state of national dissatisfaction.

“The needed transformation is now and only from God Almighty to assuage and rescue us from the level of inefficiency and impotency that all arms of government have led our nation (Nigeria) into the abyss of impoverishment, deplorable infrastructure, decline potentiality, mass unemployment rate, insecurity challenges, religious and inter- ethnic hostility and disunity.

"‎It is regrettable that people toil in the place of prayers and fasting focused only on the aspirations and anxieties of this world hence they wander around from the start to the end of each year without achieving anything substantial.

"It is not an exaggeration that the fear of God is missing in the life of our national existence and corporate living as a nation, but it is time for us to begin to develop the belief that every hindrance and veil of darkness that birthed the state of disrespect, despondency and reproach towards God would be taken away by Fire in this new year 2018" the cleric prophesized.

Throwing his weights behind the masses,the poor and the downtrodden, Evangelist Kolajo said it has been revealed unto him that tears, lamentations and anguish of all would be over.

He added, "2018 is the year of Glorification and restoration of accrued, missed and lost blessings,but the prerequisite to being a legitimate partaker from now is for us to abandon our old negative habits, repent and consciously work towards positivity in one spirit.

"It is time for us as a united entity to embrace the Kingdom of God that we have all denied, betrayed and abandoned at one point or the other.

"We need to humble ourselves before God, take our hopes and faith off mere Men(from pseudo-Ministers to Office holders to Political leaders to influential people in the society) and their unrealistic-deceit based schemes and seek His face for the original purpose of our existence as individuals, families, communities, states and a nation at large".

Further he advised that for true progress to manifest in the country, Nigerians must toe the path of God instead of pursuing selfish and evil goals that ultimately lead to perdition. He said that the reins of the country's political economy should be given to the God-inspired leaders instead of the current crop of occultists that populate the leadership positions in the country.

Evangelist Kolajo prophesied that 2018 is a year of DIVINE VISITATION to the country when GREAT SANCTIONS and REWARDS shall be meted to individuals and institutions depending on how each fared on the SCALE of ADHERENCE to the TENETS of the LORD and RESPONSIBILITY to HUMANITY. He admonished all to REPENT from ALL SINFUL WAYS and GENUINELY TURN to GOD who shall use FIRE for the REDEMPTION WORKS in this GENERATION instead of relying on FAKE PROPHECIES, and the so-called ANOINTED WATER, OILS, CANDLES and MANTLES from the OCCULTISTS and SATANIC AGENTS some of whom disguised themselves as "MEN of GOD".

Further he prophesied that 2018 shall be a year when there shall be RESTORATION of LOST GLORIES for the BELOVED CHILDREN of GOD. Five days revival at C.A.C. Oke-ayo district, Efon Alaaye, Ekiti state from 4th-8th December 2017, was filled with power and Passionate prayer warfare. Evangelist Peter Kolajo of God of fire Global Evangelistic Ministry Osogbo; the invited revivalist, encouraged the congregation to expect the visitation of God in their lives as an indication of the separation between light and darkness since this is independent of our prayers, fastings, spiritual exercises(oil and water useage) and other diabolical means.

The Revivalist took his scriptures from Ezekiel 37:1-8, where he explained that unfulfilled promises, lack, poverty, the power and hold of sin, diseases and illnesses, even sudden death are pointers to dry bones. According to the Cleric, Jesus is the light and light is life which brings the Glory of God therefore spurring revival and restoration in our souls, families, destinies and lands. But the ONLY prerequisite to receiving the Glory of resurrection is total submission to Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, Evangelist Kolajo asked the congregation that, “who is it that is worthy enough to receive the glory? ". He took his answers from II Sam 9:1-7 and John 5:1-8 by stressing the fact that God the giver of the Glory of resurrection only but searches and locates every deserving recipient by HIMSELF. Hence the glory of resurrection is dependent only upon God, the Giver himself.
Also, He buttressed it that, "God never considers your errors before revealing and depositing His light (Jesus) in you. He went on to lead prayers of strategic warfare for illumination of God's light into our lives, revival of the Gospel in our land, Judgment of the accuser upon our lives, the removal of evil veils off our lives and strategic sudden upliftment in all spheres.
